Summary: A marvel of our age is our willingness to enlist our children in radical social engineering experiments. If they fail, we will be judged harshly. By the boys most of all. We will have no excuses. Here’s a small but telling example: putting boys in dresses. Books, films by the BBC, musicals by the Royal Shakespeare Company – everybody is getting on the bandwagon. What if the gender-bending experiment – the drastic revision of historical gender roles – does not end well for our children? What will future generations say about us, people who used their children as lab rats in one of the largest social science experiments in history – acting only on untested theories?
We have drastically changed the way we raise boys. We now drug them with powerful psychotropic drugs for a decade of their childhood (e.g., stimulants such as Adderall and Ritalin, or an amazing array of anti-depressants). Schools force them into unnatural behaviors by eliminating outdoor playtime. Helicopter parents regulate every moment of their lives, from school to lessons to highly-structured sports programs. Instead of teaching them clearly defined gender roles, we teach them to be like girls – and that natural male behaviors are toxic.
Now we take the next, perhaps final step. If a boy shows any confusion about his gender roles, in many schools he is encouraged to take powerful hormones – putting him on a course leading to having his balls cut off.
An experiment
Gender behavior is largely a social construct. Once social pressure was removed, in three generations most women changed their clothing to that of men – wearing traditional outfits only for commercial advantage, to hunt, and for ceremonies. Feminists decided to see the effects of reversing the process, getting boys to wear traditional female outfits. Feminist-dominated institutions, such as grade schools, began experiments on boys. Without bothering to consult the parents. In time we will see the results.
A hit book in Sweden

Eventually, his Dad wears a dress to see if it can make him better at his job.
The Brits go full gender-bending
David Walliams’ 2008 book The Boy in the Dress

The BBC made it into a film (see a glowing review in The Telegraph). The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) made it into a musical.

In the real world
Instagram has countless pictures of boys wearing dresses, posted by proud parents.
The likely sad consequences
Feminists – teachers, psychologists, parents, etc. – teach boys that their masculinity is toxic and urge them to adopt feminine traits. Pity the poor boys that listen, only to find that most women prefer to have sex with strong men. Many prefer bad boys (those with Dark Triad traits}. Few choose metrosexuals or men that wear dresses and act like girls.
These boys probably will be collateral damage in the great feminist experiment. Many who were ushered into gender transitions will be afflicted with severe mental health problems (some will commit suicide). Will they be impressed when we justify our actions by saying we had untested theories? Will they ever forgive us?

Did you know that in the past, in England at least, ‘boy” meant servant and all children were girls? And the favourite colour was pink. How times have changed.

Many word origins are obscure. “Boy” might be derived from “servant.” But that is just one of many possible origins. Others are rascal, ruffian, knave, urchin, and young gentleman. Details here.
I don’t see in either the OED or etymology online that “all children were girls.”

Do you have a cite for that? I looked at some of the better known books about color, and none say anything like that. Here’s a nice brief at CNN about the history of pink.
I am one of those boys. What happened to me infuriates me to this day.
When I was very young I developed a strong interest in reading. I finished my mom’s college English books by 4th grade and finished every college level history book I could get my hands on. Read Ayn Rand’s The Fountainhead in one sitting at the age of 13 and later finished the entire works of Charles Dickens.
I was once tested as having the reading skills of a typical English major college graduate at the end of elementary school.
My elementary school eliminated recess and cut the breaks between class periods to 5 minutes.
My teachers in 4th/5th grade got annoyed that I would rock back and forth in my chair when forced to sit still and read books I had already read that were ten grade levels below my reading level.
The teachers and school nurse arranged for me to be prescribed a high Adderall dosage WITHOUT psychiatrist approval. The teachers arranged to sic child services on my family if we didn’t comply.
This was in liberal Austin so everyone involved was a Feminist Democrat with strong opinions on boys. One of the teachers got in trouble but avoided discipline thanks to unions for gloating about her practice of abusing her position to deliberately make the boys cry for sport. If anything the educators needed psychiatric care.
My mom fought back and used the threat of court intervention to get then to stop eventually, but the damage was done.
To this day I have occasional twitches on my face and difficulty controlling the display of emotions. The medicine has given me permanent minor neurological damage that still has negative effects on my social life now that I am in my late 20s.
I was also prevented from enlisting in the US military despite never being diagnosed with a disqualifying disease, injury or illness. Despite the best attempts of the recruiters, I always told the truth about everything.
When I got into the nuclear field the combined lost wages due to delayed employment and medical documentation for my medical/security costs worked out to over $5,000.
During my high school class, almost half the boys with me in the Gifted and Talented program were on medication despite the statistical probability of any of them having any mental issues were in the low single digits.
The Diversity and Inclusion office at work is using my department as the test case for the new transgender transitioning policy.
They threatened to fire us on maliciously false accusations of time mischarging plus sabotage of future employment prospects if we misgendered, deadnamed or forgot to use the Orwellian Newspeak of proper pronouns.
Then they forced us to listen to a speech where the 6 figured salary, black, female Chief Officer of Diversity and Inclusion was quite insistent that they were not trying to change anyones mind or force anything on anybody and no one was being threatened
Then the engineers were praised for being tolerant unlike the skilled trades who were forced to attend 40 hours of demeaning, mind numbing sensitivity training.
They made a veiled threat of having us attend the same re-education if we said anything they didn’t like, before asking if we had any questions or comments as part of our “debate.”
I work at a shipyard. These morons are in charge of the building of the Ford Class nuclear aircraft carriers.

Thank you for sharing your story.
I am like you, but from a previous generation. I was disruptive in class, largely unaware of the rules (everything was too interesting for such details). While a trial to my grade school teachers, they managed without drugging me into oblivion. My desk was almost always off in the corner (that was punishment, although it didn’t bother me). And so forth. Life went on.
My teachers managed me along with 30 other kids, in schools built for half the number of the students as they housed. There were no teaching assistants and few administrators. They ran just fine and produced better-educated students than in our schools. It’s not my field, so I don’t know what has changed. But whatever the cause, the net changes have not been for the better.
But for good or ill, the changes have occurred largely due to our passivity.
Deconstruction of male and female identities is just another next step in alienating people from their Creator and His rules. The thing is, these rules are there for a reason, and bending them will eventually only harm people. At that point in time society is already suffering the consequences. People are blind and led by the nose to destruction.
