Watch the Left and Right move against America

Summary: Recent events show the bolts coming out of the American political system, as both Left and Right move against the rest of us. There is still time to retake the reins, if we act soon.

Slowly over the past few decades America’s political machine machinery cracks under the stress put upon it by changes in us. Now the the bolts begin to pop out, for all who care to see.

Longoria and Muñoz previously operated the Futuro Fund, which raised $32 million for Barack Obama’s reelection efforts.” {From the Free Beacon.}

This ad sounds the same theme as claims that Republicans want to commit genocide against a varying set of groups. The Left’s leaders incite fear, even hysteria, among minority groups for political gain. Without bothering to show actual evidence. It is beyond divisive, poison injected into American politics. This is the tinder from which political violence erupts.

Political violence does not “just happen.” First, people have rehearsals to prepare themselves — or work themselves up — for the real thing. Such as the light violence of Antifa (quite real to the people beaten up or pepper sprayed), which the left applauds. To see how far back this trend goes, see this video from 2010. It is an advertisement for the climate change campaign. Like the above ad, its designers living inside the Left’s bubble were astonished at the public’s reaction — and quickly pulled it. Meanwhile on the Right…

They nominated a clown for President. He won by a fluke of the Electoral College. Now they seek to strip away health care from millions of people, dismantle the regulatory structure that has protected us and the environment since the New Deal. Now they attempt to pass a large tax cut for the rich, if they can agree how much to blow up the deficit (details here). Meanwhile Trump’s administration is mired in corruption and incompetence.

Back on the Left

Leaders on the left have weaponize their flocks, deploying them to chant, drowning out the speech of people they dislike. As with so many things these days, George Orwell predicted it. As in this scene from Animal Farm.

Goebbels is laughing in Hell, watching the Left adopt fascist methods while pretending to fight fascism (he was Hitler’s genius propaganda master). That is true victory.

Of course, the Right will respond in kind (tit-for-tat is the most effective strategy in game theory). And American politics will work even more poorly than it does now.

Conclusion

This is all very like the Weimar Republic. It’s “Weimerica”! Both Left and Right are moving against the rest of us. The 1% smile, as this keeps us weak and divided — unable to form the broad alliances that can wrestle control of America from them. Let’s stir from our torpor and retake the reins of America before things spin out of control.
